Multinational Personal Care Corporation partners with Oklahoma Chiller to replace a cooling tower that was reaching end-of-life.

THE SOLUTION
A new upgraded cooling tower with two direct-drive fan motors to allow for variable speeds. During the installation, the customer decided to add an additional process to tie in with the new cooling tower. To aid in their new process, a sweep system was added to improve the water quality running through the tower.

RESULTS
The variable speed drives increased energy efficiency and reduced maintenance costs. Getting rid of the gearbox and other mechanical devices eliminated the need for future belt replacements and other maintenance items. Our factory direct turnkey solution also eliminated third party involvement, saving on subcontractor costs. The cooling tower install was complete months before the customer’s requested.
